§1-23  Severability.  If any provisionof the Hawaii Revised Statutes, or the application thereof to any person orcircumstances, is held invalid, the remainder of the Hawaii Revised Statutes,or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances, shallnot be affected thereby.
