§6K-4  Powers and duties.  Thedepartment and other departments and agencies of the State shall be subject tothe oversight of the commission with regard to the control and management ofthe island reserve.  Subject to section 6K-6, the department shall:

(1)  Implement controls and permitted uses for theisland reserve;

(2)  Enforce this chapter;

(3)  Provide administrative support to the commission;and

(4)  Authorize those of its employees as it deemsreasonable and necessary to serve and execute warrants and arrest offenders orissue citations in all matters relating to enforcement of the laws and rulesapplicable to the island reserve. [L 1993, c 340, pt of §2; am L 1994, c 161,§3]
