ยง11-119ย  Printing; quantity.ย  (a)ย  Theballots shall be printed by order of the chief election officer or the clerk inthe case of county elections.ย  In any state or county election the chiefelection officer on agreement with the clerk may consolidate the printingcontracts for similar types of ballots where such consolidation will result inlower costs.

(b)ย  Whenever the chief election officer isresponsible for the printing of ballots, the exact wording to appear thereon,including, but not limited to, questions and issues shall be submitted to thechief election officer not later than 4:30 p.m. on the sixtieth calendar dayprior to the applicable election.

(c)ย  Based upon clarity and available space,the chief election officer or the clerk in the case of county elections shalldetermine the style and size of type to be used in printing the ballots.ย  Thecolor, size, weight, shape, and thickness of the ballot shall be determined bythe chief election officer.

(d)ย  Each precinct shall receive a sufficientnumber of ballots based on the number of registered voters and the expectedspoilage in the election concerned.ย  A sufficient number of absentee ballotsshall be delivered to each clerk not later than 4:30 p.m. on the fifteenth dayprior to the date of any election.
