ยง11-218ย Candidate funding; amountsavailable.ย (a)ย For the office of governor, lieutenant governor, or mayor,the maximum amount of public funds available to a candidate in any electionshall not exceed ten per cent of the total expenditure limit as determinedunder section 11-209 for each election for each office listed in thissubsection.
(b)ย For the office of state senator, staterepresentative, county council member, and prosecuting attorney, the maximumamount of public funds available to a candidate in any election shall befifteen per cent of the total expenditure limit as determined under section11-209 for each election for each office listed in this subsection.
(c)ย For the office of Hawaiian affairs, themaximum amount of public funds available to a candidate shall not exceed $1,500in any election year.
(d)ย For the board of education and all otheroffices, the maximum amount of public funds available to a candidate shall notexceed $100 in any election year.
(e)ย Each candidate who qualified for themaximum amount of public funding in any primary election and who is a candidatefor a subsequent general election shall apply with the commission to bequalified to receive the maximum amount of public funds as provided in thissection for the respective election.ย For purposes of this section,"qualified" means meeting the qualifying campaign contributionrequirements of section 11-219.
