ยง11-219ย Qualifying campaign contributions;amounts.ย As a condition of receiving public funds for a primary or generalelection, a candidate shall not be unopposed in any election for which publicfunds are sought, shall have filed an affidavit with the commission pursuant tosection 11-208 to voluntarily limit the candidate's campaign expenditures, andshall be in receipt of the following sum of qualifying campaign contributionsfrom individual residents of Hawaii:
(1)ย For the office of governor--qualifyingcontributions that in the aggregate, exceed $100,000;
(2)ย For the office of lieutenant governor--qualifyingcontributions that in the aggregate, exceed $50,000;
(3)ย For the office of mayor for each respectivecounty:
(A)ย County of Honolulu--qualifyingcontributions that in the aggregate, exceed $50,000;
(B)ย County of Hawaii--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $15,000;
(C)ย County of Maui--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $10,000; and
(D)ย County of Kauai--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $5,000; and
(4)ย For the office of prosecuting attorney for eachrespective county:
(A)ย County of Honolulu--qualifyingcontributions that in the aggregate, exceed $30,000;
(B)ย County of Hawaii--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $10,000; and
(C)ย County of Kauai--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $5,000;
(5)ย For the office of county council--for eachrespective county:
(A)ย County of Honolulu--qualifyingcontributions that in the aggregate, exceed $5,000;
(B)ย County of Hawaii--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $1,500;
(C)ย County of Maui--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $5,000; and
(D)ย County of Kauai--qualifying contributionsthat in the aggregate, exceed $3,000;
(6)ย For the office of state senator--qualifyingcontributions that, in the aggregate, exceed $2,500;
(7)ย For the office of staterepresentative--qualifying contributions that, in the aggregate, exceed $1,500;
(8)ย For the office of Hawaiian affairs--qualifyingcontributions that, in the aggregate, exceed $1,500; and
