§11-227  Public notices.  (a) Forty-five days before each primary, special primary, special, or generalelection, and at such other times as may be appropriate, the commission maygive public notices to communicate to the public the following:

(1)  A candidate who has signed an affidavit pursuantto section 11-208 to abide by the expenditure limits for the candidate'srespective office as imposed by this subpart;

(2)  A candidate who has filed an affidavit to abideby spending limits, but who has exceeded the expenditure limits pursuant tosection 11-209;

(3)  A candidate who has failed to file a reportrequired under this subpart, or who has failed to correct a deficient reportafter notice of the deficiency or failure to file has been mailed to the candidatepursuant to section 11-193(a)(5); and

(4)  Any flagrant violation of any other provision ofthis subpart.
