§12-9  List of candidates.  As soon aspossible but not later than 4:30 p.m. on the fifth day after the close offiling the chief election officer shall transmit to each county clerk and thecounty clerk shall transmit to the chief election officer certified listscontaining the names of all persons, the office for which each is a candidate,and their party designation, or designation of nonpartisanship, as the case maybe, for whom nomination papers have been duly filed in his office and who areentitled to be voted for at the primary, special primary or special election.[L 1970, c 26, pt of §2; am L 1973, c 217, §2(e)]
