§26-51  Governor; lieutenant governor. Effective at noon on December 4, 2006, the salaries of the governor and thelieutenant governor shall be as last recommended by the executive salarycommission.  Effective July 1, 2007, and every six years thereafter, thesalaries of the governor and lieutenant governor shall be as last recommendedby the commission on salaries pursuant to section 26‑56, unless rejectedby the legislature.
