ยง28-3ย  Gives opinions.ย  The attorneygeneral shall, when requested, give opinions upon questions of law submitted bythe governor, the legislature, or its members, or the head of any department.ย The attorney general shall file a copy of each opinion with the lieutenantgovernor, the public archives, the supreme court library, and the legislativereference bureau within three days of the date it is issued.ย  Opinions on filewith the lieutenant governor, the public archives, and the supreme courtlibrary shall be available for public inspection.ย  The legislative referencebureau shall furnish the members of the legislature with a list of the mostrecent opinions filed with the bureau, at least once a year, not later thantwenty days before the beginning of each regular session.
