§437B-8  Powers to classify and limit
license.  (a)  The board shall adopt rules necessary to effect the
classification of motor vehicle mechanics in a manner consistent with the
certification program established by this chapter, and shall limit the motor
vehicle repair activities of a licensee to those areas for which the licensee
is certified or licensed.



(b)  An applicant may make application for
[licensure] in more than one classification if the applicant is certified for
each classification and otherwise meets the qualification for [licensure] as
prescribed by the board.  If the applicant is licensed for more than one
classification, the applicant shall pay the license fee but shall not be
