[§443B-14]  Penalties.  (a)  Violation
of this chapter by an individual is punishable by a fine of not more than $500.



(b)  Violation of this chapter by persons other
than an individual is punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.  Any
officer, agent, or employee of a collection agency who personally participates
in any violation of this chapter by the collection agency is subject to
penalties prescribed in subsection (a) of this section. [L 1987, c 191, pt of
