§453-5.4  Physician assistant advisorycommittee.  There shall be a physician assistant advisory committee underthe Hawaii medical board consisting solely of persons licensed under section453-5.3.  The committee shall review all complaints and requests relating tophysician assistants, and review and recommend revisions of the physicianassistant regulations.

The chairperson of the committee shall be therepresentative for the committee members to the Hawaii medical board for thepurpose of providing input to the board from the physician assistant'sperspective on issues and concerns, including complaints and requests,regarding physician assistants.  The chairperson shall not be a member of the Hawaiimedical board to avoid conflict of interests.
