§490:11-107  Transition provisions as to
priorities.  Except as otherwise provided in Article 11, old U.C.C. shall
apply to any question of priority if the positions of the parties were fixed
prior to the effective date of July 1, 1979. In other cases questions of
priority shall be determined by the new U.C.C. [L 1978, c 155, pt of §1(34)]
