§516-3 No estoppel or waiver. The
rights granted to lessees by this chapter shall be effective, notwithstanding
any provision in any lease or contract to the contrary. No lessee shall be
estopped by any covenant, term, condition, or contract, however worded, from
claiming the rights granted to the lessee or otherwise be deemed to have waived
such right. Any provision in any lease or contract contrary to the intent or
