§46-23  Salaries of department heads,deputies, assistants; fixed how.  Salaries of appointive heads ofdepartments and salaries of deputies or assistants of any department, whosehead is elected or appointed, shall be fixed by the council of the respectivecounty governments where no other provision is made in the Hawaii RevisedStatutes, or any amendatory acts thereto, for fixing the salaries.
