§46-27  Approval of bonds.  Thesufficiency of the bonds of the members of the several councils and the mayorof the city and county of Honolulu shall be approved by a judge of the circuitcourt having jurisdiction over or within the county, and all other bonds shallbe approved as to sufficiency by the officer with whom the same are required tobe deposited.
