§47-19  Service on garnishee.  Service
of process upon the garnishee may be made as follows:



(1)  If the garnishee lives or has the garnishee's
office in the district where the process is issued, by handing the copy to the
garnishee personally or leaving it in the garnishee's office with a deputy,
clerk, or other employee therein; or



(2)  If the garnishee does not live, nor have an
office in the district where the process is issued, by handing the copy to the
garnishee personally, or by depositing it in the nearest post office, enclosed
in a sealed envelope, postage prepaid, and addressed to the garnishee at the
garnishee's office in Honolulu. [L 1989, c 80, pt of §2]
