§53-9  Work on acquired areas; competitivecontracts.  The redevelopment agency may, by letting of contracts therefor,or by using its own employees, clear the acquired areas and maintain and repairor rehabilitate, but not reconstruct or enlarge, any structure (exceptstructures to be held and used by the government for public purposes); providedthat any work, the estimated cost of which is in excess of $1,000, shall be letonly in accordance with chapter 103D.
