§78-23.6 - Leave of absence to serve as bone marrow donor or organ donor.

[§78-23.6]  Leave of absence to serve asbone marrow donor or organ donor.  Any officer or employee in the serviceof the State or any of the several counties shall be entitled to:

(1)  Seven days of paid leave each calendar year toserve as a bone marrow donor; and

(2)  Thirty days of paid leave each calendar year toserve as an organ donor. [L 2005, c 176, §1]
