ยง101-10ย Circuit courts have jurisdiction.ย [L 2004, c 202, ยง9 amendment repealed June 30, 2010.ย L 2006, c 94,ยง1.]ย The circuit courts shall try and determine all actions arising underthis part, subject only to an appeal in accordance with law.ย The court, on itsown motion or on motion of any party, may try and determine any issue in thecase in advance of other issues. ย L 2004, c 202, ยง82 provides:
ย "SECTION 82.ย Appeals pending in the supreme court as ofthe effective date of this Act [July 1, 2006] may be transferred to theintermediate appellate court or retained at the supreme court as the chiefjustice, in the chief justice's sole discretion, directs."
