§127-5  Mobile reserve units.  Thedirector of disaster relief may create and establish and provide for theadministration of such number of mobile reserve units as may be necessary tosupplement disaster relief organizations in stricken areas and with dueconsideration of the plans of the federal government.  The director may appointa commander for each unit who shall have primary responsibility for theorganization, administration, and operation of the unit.  Mobile reserve unitsor any portion or member thereof shall be called to duty upon orders of thedirector and may be dispatched to any political subdivision in the Statewhenever the governor proclaims that a state of disaster there exists.
