§128-15  Status of regular governmentemployees.  If any government officer or employee, state or county, isengaged in carrying out this chapter in lieu of the officer's or employee'sregular office or employment, the amount of the officer's or employee'scompensation shall not be adversely affected, and the officer's or employee'srights in or under the laws relating to vacations and leaves, the retirementsystem, civil service or the like, shall not be adversely affected.
