§128-31  Civil defense personnel; law
enforcement powers, when.  The governor may authorize appropriate members
of the civil defense agency and civil defense organizations, during a civil
defense emergency period, to make arrests and exercise other powers of police
officers for the purpose of enforcing this chapter, rules and regulations
issued under this chapter, and such laws as the governor may specify. [L 1951,
