§132-2  General power to make rules. Subject to chapter 91, the fire chief of each county may adopt rules whichshall not be inconsistent with the provisions of any ordinance relating to theprotection of persons and property against fire. Such rules may relate to:

(1)  Prevention of fires, and the inspection ofproperty, periodically or otherwise, or for the prevention of or reduction ofloss by fire, or to promote the safety of persons in case of fire;

(2)  Manufacture, storage, sale, and use of combustiblesand explosives;

(3)  Installation and maintenance of automatic, orother fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishing equipment;

(4)  Fire escape and other means of exits from oraccess to buildings or parts of buildings or other property in case of fireincluding the exterior approaches to exits of places of assembly.
