[§148-66] Administrative penalties.  (a)  The department of agriculture, after noticeand opportunity for hearing, may revoke or suspend any license issued underthis part for any violation of this part.

(b)  Thedepartment of agriculture, after notice and opportunity for hearing, may fineany person who violates this part, not more than $1,000 for each separateoffense.  Each day or instance of violation shall constitute a separateoffense.  Any action taken to impose or collect the penalty provided for inthis section shall be considered a civil action.
