[§159-54]  Enforcement.  (a)  Inspectorsshall enforce this chapter and related rules adopted by the department.

(b)  Inspectors shall be provided with suitablebadges or insignia of office by the department, and shall have power to detainor impound meat or meat product that is in violation of this chapter.  Thedivision head of the division of animal industry of the department or thedivision head's designees shall have the power to serve and execute warrants inall matters relating to the meat inspection laws and to issue a citation forany violation of this chapter or related rules.
