§161-37 Articles not intended for humanfood. Inspection shall not be made under this chapter at any establishmentfor the slaughter of poultry or the processing of any carcasses or parts orproducts of poultry, which are not intended for use as human food, providedthat the poultry or poultry products shall, prior to their offer for sale ortransportation in intrastate commerce, unless naturally inedible by humans, bedenatured or otherwise identified as specified by rule to deter their use forhuman food. No person shall buy, sell, transport, or offer for sale ortransportation, or receive for transportation, in intrastate commerce, anycarcasses, parts thereof, poultry, or poultry products of any poultry which arenot intended for use as human food unless they are denatured or otherwiseidentified as required by the rules adopted by the board or are naturallyinedible by humans.
