§173A-2  Definitions.  As used in thischapter:

"Board" means the board of land andnatural resources.

"Department" means the department ofland and natural resources.

"Land" means the earth, water, andair, above, below, or on the surface, and includes easements and rights inland, and any improvement on land.

"Land having value as a resource to theState" includes land having natural, environmental, recreational, scenic,cultural, agricultural production, or historic value, and may also include parkand trail systems that provide access to any such land. [L 1973, c 77, §2; am L2005, c 156, §3]
