§180-10  Adding territory; petition. Petitions for adding territory to an existing district may be filed with thedepartment of land and natural resources and the proceedings herein providedfor the organization of a district shall be observed in such case.  Where thenumber of land occupier votes in the area proposed to be added is less thantwenty-five, the petition may be filed when signed by a majority of suchoccupiers and in such case no referendum need be held.
