§183D-11  Informer's fee.  One-half ofthe fine imposed and collected in all cases where the defendant has beenconvicted for a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or chapter195D shall be paid to the person giving the information leading to the arrestof the person so convicted; provided that this section shall not apply, if theinformer is a regular salaried sheriff, deputy sheriff, police officer, wardenor constable, or officer or agent of the department.
