§183D-31 - Game birds, declaration by department.

§183D-31  Game birds, declaration bydepartment.  (a)  The department may declare, by rule adopted pursuant tochapter 91, any bird which has been or may be introduced into the State to bepropagated for hunting purposes, to be a game bird within the meaning of thischapter.

(b)  Nothing in this section shall be construedas permitting the taking, stalking, pursuing, or killing of any game bird underdomestication or in the legal possession or control of any person, or whereotherwise prohibited by law or rule of the department. [L 1985, c 174, pt of§4]
