§183-11  Government land for forestreserves.  The governor may, with the approval of the department of landand natural resources, after a hearing or hearings as hereinafter provided,from time to time set apart any government land or lands, whether under leaseor not, as forest reserves.  On lands under lease the reserve shall not takeeffect until the expiration of the existing lease, or in any way affect therights acquired under the lease.  Any land or lands while so set apart shallnot be leased or sold by the government or used in any way for any purposesinconsistent with this chapter.  The governor may from time to time, with theapproval of the department, after a hearing or hearings as hereinafterprovided, revoke, modify, or suspend any and all the orders and proclamationsor any part thereof, which set apart the lands.
