[§201N-10]  Public participation; publicmeetings.  Upon acceptance of the permit plan application for a renewableenergy facility, the coordinator shall hold a public meeting on the island onwhich the renewable energy facility will be built.  The purpose of the publicmeetings shall be to promote public awareness of the proposed renewable energyfacility in the affected areas.  The public meeting shall be an opportunity forany members of the affected community to provide input regarding the developmentand construction of the renewable energy facility and regarding the permit plandeveloped pursuant to section 201N-4.  The public meeting shall also be anopportunity for the coordinator, the applicant, and any applicable state orcounty agencies to gain public and community sentiment regarding the proposeddevelopment of the renewable energy facility and incorporate the publicsentiment and input into the planning of the proposed renewable energyfacility.
