§201-9  Cooperation with other agencies;acceptance and spending of grants; dissemination of findings.  Thedepartment of business, economic development, and tourism shall seek the widestpossible cooperation, under law, with public and private agencies and thefederal government in achieving the purpose of this part.  It may accept fundsfrom individuals and other agencies, public and private, and agree to suchlawful and reasonable conditions and terms as the donor of funds may require,all toward the end of furthering the purposes of this part.  The funds may beexpended by the department on vouchers approved by its director, or may betransferred to other state agencies for expenditure by them in effectuating thepurposes of this part.

To the end of stimulating cooperation towardthe economic development of Hawaii and of disseminating useful informationwhich it obtains, the department shall from time to time publish the results ofits research, its findings, and recommendations.
