§206E-22 Violations and penalty. (a) The authority may set, charge, and collect reasonable fines for violation ofthis chapter or any rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91. Any person violatingany of the provisions of this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant to chapter91, for which violation a penalty is not otherwise provided, shall be fined notmore than $500 a day and shall be liable for administrative costs incurred bythe authority.
(b) The authority may maintain an action foran injunction to restrain any violation of the provisions of this chapter andmay take any other lawful action to prevent or remedy any violation.
(c) Any person violating any provision of thischapter shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 orby imprisonment not exceeding thirty days, or both. The continuance of aviolation after conviction shall be deemed a new offense for each day of suchcontinuance. [L 1982, c 228, §2; am L 1993, c 136, §1]
