ยง210-7ย  Loans to development companies.ย (a)ย  The department of business, economic development, and tourism may makeloans to development companies incorporated in the State for the purpose ofsupplementing the funds required to be forthcoming to qualify developmentcompanies to receive financial assistance under Title V of SBIA.ย  The loansshall be subject to terms and conditions established by the department assimilar as possible to applicable terms and conditions prescribed byregulations adopted by SBA.

(b)ย  Subject to the availability of funds, arequest from the high technology development corporation for a transfer offunds to supplement appropriations for small business innovation researchgrants shall be granted expeditiously.ย  If available funds are inadequate for atransfer to the development corporation, the director shall advise thedevelopment corporation that a transfer will be made when sufficient funds areavailable in the Hawaii capital loan revolving fund.
