[§229-5]  Dissolving sister-staterelationships.  The Hawaii sister-state committee may make a recommendationto terminate a sister-state relationship it deems to be defunct, moribund, ornot beneficial and forward its recommendation to the legislature.  Thelegislature, if it so chooses, shall implement the recommendation to terminatea sister-state relationship either by adopting a concurrent resolution or byenacting session law to that effect.
