[§231-66] Tax liens; postponement of sale,etc. If at the time appointed for the sale the state tax collector deemsit expedient and for the interest of all persons concerned therein to postponethe sale of any property or properties for want of purchasers, or for othersufficient cause, the state tax collector may postpone the sale from time totime, until the sale is completed, giving notice of every adjournment by apublic declaration thereof at the time and place last appointed for the sale;provided that the sale of any property may be abandoned at the time firstappointed or any adjourned date, if no proper bid is received sufficient tosatisfy the lien, together with all interest, penalties, costs, expenses, andcharges.
