[§245-38]  Vending unstamped cigarettes. (a)  Beginning April 1, 2001, any person who knowingly places for sale in acigarette vending machine any cigarettes not contained in cigarette packages towhich are affixed stamps as required by this part, shall be guilty of a class Cfelony.

(b)  In addition to any other authorizeddisposition, a corporation found in violation of subsection (a) may be fined inan amount not to exceed $50,000. [L 2000, c 249, pt of §1]
