§246-30  Person affected with Hansen'sdisease.  Any person who has been declared by authority of law to be aperson affected with Hansen's disease in the communicable stage and is admittedto a hospital for isolation treatment, shall, so long as the person is sohospitalized, and thereafter for so long as such person has been so declared tobe therefrom temporarily released, shall, so long as the person remains orcontinues under temporary release, be exempted from real property taxes on allreal property owned by the person on the date when the person was declared tobe a person so affected with Hansen's disease, up to, but not exceeding, ataxable value of $15,000.
