[PARTII.]  SPECIAL FACILITY PROJECTS

 

§266-51  Definitions.  For the purposeof this part, if not inconsistent with the context:

(1)  "Special facility" means one or morebuildings, structures, or facilities on land owned by the State for maritimeand marine operations, including cargo handling and control; storage, repair,maintenance, and servicing of marine and marine-related equipment; processingand canning of fish and fish products; and offices and accommodations for thepersonnel and employees of persons engaged in maritime and maritime-relatedoperations which are the subject of a special facility lease.

(2)  "Special facility lease" includes acontract, lease, or other agreement, or any combination thereof, the subjectmatter of which is the special facility.

(3)  "Remodeling" includes reconstruction,renovation, rehabilitation, improvement, betterment, or extension of a specialfacility. [L 1980, c 126, pt of §2; am L 1984, c 203, §1]
