§273-2  Granting public lands, etc.  Thedepartment of land and natural resources, with the consent of the governor, maygrant a right-of-way, not greater than forty feet in width, through all publiclands, to any corporation as aforesaid for the purpose of building the railroador railroads.  With like consent and approval, the department may grant the useof such public lands, lying alongside and abutting such right-of-way, as may bereasonably necessary for buildings, stations, depots, or other structures, forrailroad purposes only.
