[§279G-1]  Ridesharing arrangement; defined. As used in this chapter, "ridesharing arrangement" means thetransportation of persons in a motor vehicle where that transportation isincidental to another purpose of the driver.  The term includes ridesharingarrangements known as carpools, vanpools, and buspools.
