§281-21  Service of subpoenas byinvestigators, police officers, or other law enforcement officers; witnesses'fees.  Any investigator, police officer, or other law enforcement officermay serve any subpoena issued by the liquor commission, liquor controladjudication board, or administrator.

Every witness attending or testifying at anyhearing of the commission or board in response to a subpoena issued by it orthe administrator shall be paid as provided for in section 621-7.  If a witnessis subpoenaed by direction of the commission, board, or administrator, thewitness' fees shall be paid out of any funds which may be set aside for theexpenses of the commission or board and, if the witness is subpoenaed on behalfof any interested party, the witness' fees shall be paid by that party.
