[§304A-109]  Service of process.  (a) Service of process upon the university shall be made by serving a filed andcertified copy of the summons and of the complaint on the university generalcounsel in accordance with applicable court rules and chapter 634 or on anyattorney in the office of the university general counsel.

(b)  Service of process upon an officer oremployee of the university being sued in the officer's or employee's officialcapacity shall be made by serving the university and by delivering a copy ofthe summons and of the complaint to that officer or employee in accordance withapplicable court rules and chapter 634.
