[§304A-1302]  Functions.  In addition toproviding a quality education primarily through the medium of the Hawaiianlanguage, the Hawaiian language college shall:

(1)  Provide an indigenous language outreach programto involve indigenous language scholars and to maintain and develop theprogram's Polynesian language database;

(2)  Provide a Hawaiian medium teacher training programincorporating Nawahiokalani‘opu‘u school and other schools, as appropriate, aslaboratory schools; and

(3)  Maintain a Hawaiian language support center witheducational specialists in the areas of research, curriculum development,language development, archival work, and educational technology. [L 2006, c 75,pt of §2]
