[§304A-1603]  Labor education advisorycouncil.  There is established a labor education advisory council,consisting of not more than fifteen members, broadly representative of thetrade union movement in the State, who shall be appointed by the president ofthe University of Hawaii.  The council shall be advisory to the chancellor ofthe University of Hawaii, West Oahu campus, on all activities and programs ofthe center for labor education and research and shall assist the chancellor inthe assessment and evaluation of program needs for implementation.  Members ofthe council shall designate its chairperson and shall serve withoutcompensation; provided that actual travel and other expenses incurred in theperformance of their duties shall be advanced or reimbursed.
