[§321-26.5]  Environmentally-sensitivecleaning and maintenance products for use in public schools; approved list ofproducts.  (a)  The department of health shall maintain a list of productsthat have been approved by the Green Seal program for public school facilitiesto use as a first preference guideline when purchasing and usingenvironmentally-sensitive cleaning and maintenance products; provided that thedepartment may add or remove any product from the list as deemed necessary bythe director.

(b)  The department shall review and evaluateexisting research regarding environmentally-sensitive cleaning and maintenanceproducts, including any research and guidance issued by the United StatesEnvironmental Protection Agency. [L Sp 2009, c 13, §2]
