[§321-311]  Environmentally-related illnessand injury surveillance.  The department of health shall maintain, as itdeems advisable and within available resources, an environmentally-relatedhuman illness and injury surveillance system for conditions determined by thedirector to present a threat to public health in order to ascertain theincidence, distribution, and other epidemiological characteristics of theseillnesses and injuries.
