§321-375  Examination, fees required. (a)  No license shall be issued unless the applicant takes an examination asprescribed by the director and receives a passing score or meets the criteriaspecified in section 321-374(e).  No license shall be issued unless all feesrequired by the director have been paid.

(b)  The department may contract with aprofessional testing service to prepare, administer, and grade the examinationfor licensure as a tattoo artist.  For these purposes, the department may requireapplicants to pay the examination fee directly to the testing service.
